Lesson4
Think
Before you began this course, what arrangements did you make (or still do) to save your favourite web pages? What provisions do you make to be able to access them whenever and wherever you need them?
I use bookmark in my browser when I use my own PC.
Do
1. How to use Delicious. Take some time to view a couple of these presentations on Delicious (easiest first, more detailed last). Please focus on identifying what you already know, as well as two or three things that you did not know, which may make studying easier for you. You should take some notes.
We can make a list of favorite sites with tag. Tag helps to search similar sites.
I cannot understand enough about recommend tag.
Explain

It is to infer that what tag is appropriate.
2. What are the affordances of social bookmarking (what does it make possible, what does it impede)?
We can get information what we need easily. However, not every site are so good because many people choose sites.
3. How can Delicious be used to network professionally and connect you (& other students) to learning resources?
4. What skills and understandings have you learned about social bookmarking that may promote your development as an effective learner in the digital age?
Lesson3 Blog as e-Portfolio
For example, I prepared “traditional” resume when applied for part time job.
Explore
1.I need an e-portfolio because it is useful. I can be cleared what I can and it can rewrite whenever.
2.A traditional resume has traditional format so we can certainly get some kind of basically information. However sometimes it is abstract. In this point, e-portfolio has not only basically information but also more particular information.
Explain
Write a post reflecting on your blog as an e-Portfolio with reference to the four SCICU Key Questions.
1. What are the main skills needed to use your e-Portfolio?
To know what is e-Portfolio.
3. How can your e-Portfolio be used to network professionally and connect you (& other students) to learning resources?
4. What skills and understandings have you learned from creating your e-Portfolio that may promote your development as an effective learner in the digital age?
Lesson2 Browser as PLE
Before you began this course, what arrangements did you make (or still do) to try and ensure that you could do any work you wanted to do during the day?
I did not do any special device.
Explore
View a couple of these screenshot tours 1 2 3 4 showing how different users have developed a personal work environment in Firefox (FF). Most users have provided details on what extensions or tweaks they've made to develop their browser as a personal work environment. Take notes on some of the features that look interesting.
I think it is risky under some circumstances that to add so many tools to our FF. Some FF users use over 7 or 8 tools for FF so their browser is too useful not to work on without FF. I do not want to think about what they can do when their browser is wrong with.
Explain
Write a post reflecting on this early version your PLE (Firefox on a USB drive & the add-ons) with reference to the four SCICU Key Questions.
1. What are the main skills needed to use your PLE?
It is to know about how to use add-on systems.
2. What are the affordances of your PLE (what does it make possible, what does it impede)?
It is useful that I can use my own customized FF any PC. A disadvantage (but it is inevitable) is that FF for Windows works in Windows only.
3. How can your PLE be used to network professionally and connect you (& other students) to learning resources?
I can get information more easily than before to use social bookmark (Delicious) because of tag.
4. What skills and understandings have you learned from creating a PLE that may promote your development as an effective learner in the digital age?
It is important to choose tools what I need.
